Micronica is a Latvian record label in the ro-minimal and micro-house scene. For the release MICR001 “Interconnected”, Ouff Grafik designed the vinyl packaging: front and back cover and the record labels.
Design: the title “interconnected” sits over a blurred, glowing colour field crossed by thin contour lines, like a sound wave drawn in space — a calm, precise image that matches the label’s minimal sound.
The cover gradient moves from pink and orange to red, yellow and green on black. The title is set in a lowercase geometric sans with a dotless “ı”, with a small “by Micronica” line and a mark of stacked circles in the top-left corner. The back cover carries the catalogue number “micr — 001” set vertically, a large outlined title, the track list by sides, the μ logo, a barcode and a QR code. The records are black, with dark labels that repeat the gradient and contour lines.
01 — 04
Sound turned into light, colour and line.
Front and back share the same gradient and type, and the record labels continue it: one side shows the title, another the catalogue number, the rest list the tracks.
