Micronica is a Latvian record label in the ro-minimal and micro-house scene. For MICR002, which continues the “Interconnected” title, Ouff Grafik designed the vinyl cover and record label, and a set of T-shirt prints.
Design: the visual language of MICR001 carries on — a glowing colour field and contour-line waves — but here the title breaks into three lines, “inter / connec / ted”, like parts joined into one whole.
The cover mixes deep red, orange, green and teal around a dark centre, with white contour lines forming a wave around the title. The lettering is a lowercase geometric sans with a dotless “ı” and a small “by Micronica” line. The record is orange-red coloured vinyl with a dark label marked “micr — 002”. The back cover repeats the gradient with rows of wave shapes, a track list, the μ logo and a QR code. Three black T-shirts carry the same line graphics in light grey: one with the title, two with patterns of wave circles and the μ mark.
01 — 02
One word in three lines, held together by a wave.
Cover, back, label and T-shirts share one set of gradients, contour lines and type, so the release and its merch read as one series with MICR001.
