Local Rider Label is a music label. For Kidislive’s “The Closing Set EP”, Ouff Grafik designed the vinyl release artwork: front cover, back cover and record label.

Design: a typographic collage — each letter of “The Closing Set” is drawn in its own style: serif, outline, script, striped or halftone. A coral wave pattern cuts through the title.

Two colours on light grey: deep blue for the letters and coral for the rippled, glitch-like stripes. The artist name “KIDISLIVE” sits small in coral at the bottom. The back cover continues the coral wave pattern and lists the tracks in blue and coral; the white record label on black vinyl carries the same coral stripes.

Every letter plays its own part.

The front is dense with type, the back leaves room for the pattern alone, and the label picks up the same stripes — three surfaces, one rhythm.
